BLAIR FRANKLIN – Writer / Director

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Blair dreamed of making movies since childhood.  He got a B.A. in Film Studies at UC Santa Barbara where he co-wrote and directed an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart.”  After college, living in S.F., Blair shot a film noir with a twist on the femme fatale, called “A Kiss for Friday.” Working for the past 10 years casting and producing unscripted television, Blair is returning to his roots with his newest horror short film, “Forever.”

IOANA VASILE – Director of Photography

Ioana grew up in Romania, but after a threat to her family, her parents packed up their belongings and fled to the safety of Canada, where she grew up and graduated with a degree in Film Studies at Ryerson University.  Ioana currently lives in Los Angeles, where to date, she has lensed five independent feature film and several shorts films that have received special recognition including, “Day of John” a selection of the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, “Please Stand By” and “Connections”, both in the 2007 Worldwide Short Film Festival.

ROGER LANDON HALL – Editor 

A graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Roger has worked as a freelance producer/editor producing music videos and independent film shorts. His innovative editing style caught the attention of CNET (CBS owned) where he was hired as a Producer/Editor to develop original video content for TV.COM. Roger co-produced Turbo Vision, Burning Questions and Back Story which received honorable mention at the 2008 Webby’s. A very seasoned and dedicated musician since his teenage years and a skilled artisan with a pencil or a brush, Roger is an artist that thrives in any medium he chooses.

STEPHEN BEACHAM –  Sound Design & Mixing

A graduate of San Francisco State University, Stephen is a music producer, recording engineer, video producer and an accomplished musician. He currently works at CBS Interactive in San Francisco where he produces video content for CNET.com, the industry leader for technology news and reviews around the world. He also co-manages a full service recording studio, Moondog Studios. Stephen has worked with 100’s of bands in his career and has credits on more than 50+ album releases including Green Day, Lenny Kravitz, Smash Mouth, and The Sounds. He is a devoted father of 2 sons, plays drums in a folk metal band called Beercraft, and dreams of playing on the PGA Tour.

 

Megan Hook

 

MEGAN HOOK – Composer

Megan Hook is a singer/songwriter, musician and composer living in Los Angeles.  She likes and has studied a wide range of music and plays a variety of instruments including: piano, guitar, bass, harmonium and ukulele.  Megan writes music for indie films and trailers, in addition to being a singer and songwriter who fronts the band ‘The Bright Forever’.
